USSA TEAM Academy athlete and rookie team member Alexi Micinski (Meridian, ID) took her first career victory at the World Cup slopestyle final on Saturday.

U.S. Freeskiing rookie team member Lyman Currier (Boulder, CO) also took his career first victory in the FIS World Cup men's final in Sierra Nevada, coming off an ACL injury.

Faye Gulini and Callan Chythlook-Sifsof finished 3rd in the FIS Snowboard World Cup team snowboardcross in Veysonnaz, Switzerland behind Italy and Canada.

U.S. teams of Nate Holland/Nick Baumgartner and Jonathan Cheever/Seth Wescott finished second and third respectively in the FIS Snowboard World Cup team snowboardcross in Veysonnaz, Switzerland. The Canadian team of Fagan/Robanske won the race.

World Champion Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) came from behind to win her fourth slalom race of the season, sealing the first Audi FIS Alpine World Cup slalom title of her young career.

World Champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) punctuated the best season of his career with a sixth giant slalom win at the World Cup Finals on Saturday. He joined Ingemar Stenmark as the only other man to win six or more World Cup giant slalom races a season

Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) shredded the wet snow with authority, winning the Kranjska Gora giant slalom and securing the fourth Audi FIS Alpine World Cup GS title of his career.

David Wise (Reno, NV) laid down a stellar first run to win the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships halfpipe in Oslo, Norway by 0.6 points over U.S. Freeskiing teammate Torin Yater-Wallace.
