Alpine Programs

Athletes

Athletes are the heart and soul of the USSA.

The purpose of the USSA programs is to support the vision and mission of the USSA to make the United States the best in the world in Olympic skiing and snowboarding, and that wouldn't be possible without the athletes who are out there every day, training in blizzards and killing it on the slopes. The mission is to provide strong leadership that establishes and supports athletic excellence in accordance with USSA's core values as well as design a clear path for achievement in each of the sports governed by the USSA.

In this section of the website, you'll find information on development, criteria, rules, resources and more for athletes. Each of these sections will help athletes determine how to get to the next level in their sport, navigate the world of FIS regulations and get access to the resources they need to succeed.
