We are currently seeking certified and qualified coaches for our Alpine Racing, Freestyle and Snowboard programs. Successful applicants should have coaching or competitive experience. Certification through USSA, USASA or PSIA will be considered and favored for employment. All coaches hired will need to attain certification as a requirement for continued employment. Additional experience teaching the fundamentals of skiing and/or snowboarding is a plus. Some regional travel is required.

The Okemo Mountain Competition Center, VT is seeking weekend alpine ski racing coaches for all age groups for the 2016-17 winter season.  Additionally, the Okemo Mountain Competition Center is seeking a moguls coach available weekends and holidays December 2016 through early April 2017.

 Applicants for either position should be enthusiastic team players with excellent communication skills looking to work with one of the country’s largest youth ski competition programs. Race coach assigned to coach athletes age 7- 13 in a 14 week program.  This is a seasonal position/weekends and holiday camp.

 Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be knowledgeable in the principles and application of alpine ski racing, and the ability to demonstrate and communicate that knowledge clearly and positively.
  • Be able to maintain a safe learning environment.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB VAIL, CO is looking for a part time Alpine Coach to assist in the U10 Age Class Program. This is a seasonal commitment of 2 full days/week plus 2 half days/week, along with some extra days over the holidays.  The days are Wednesday and Friday afternoons and all day Saturday and Sunday. The Winter Park Competition Center, CO is looking for an assistant nordic coach and part time coaches for the 2016-2017 season. The positions will be for the winter (4-5 months) with various time commitments depending on the availability and qualifications of the applicant.

Alpine program director/head coach: Directs, manages and coaches the Alpine discipline programs at the training center consisting of Cisco Kids, Boreal Bombers, All-Mountain Devo, Twilight gates, Varsity ski teams and a USSA Tahoe Ski League team.  The Alpine Director hires and trains staff, schedules coaches and training sessions, communicates to athletes and parents and has a leadership role hosting competitions.  Successful applicants will have extensive knowledge of Alpine racing, teaching skill progressions, proven management skills, and create a positive athletic environment.
