Running bumps is in the family blood, and Brad Wilson couldn’t be happier to be a part of the clan. The younger brother of Olympic bronze medalist Bryon Wilson, Brad and his brother got their start building their own moguls courses in their hometown of Butte, Montana. Wilson earned his first Olympic birth at the 2014 Games in Sochi. He was on track for a successful post-Olympic season, but suffered a knee injury. Wilson returned to the World Cup circuit in February 2016 in a dominant fashion, winning the moguls event in Tazawako, Japan. He continued to return to true form in 2017, landing two World Cup podiums and a silver medal at the 2017 FIS Freestyle World Championships. Read more about Brad in his What Makes A Champion profile.

FIRST TRACKS
Wilson started skiing when he was four years old at a small ski area in Montana. “It was at Lost Trail where I started skiing freestyle,” says Wilson. “When I was eight and my brother was 12, we would follow the Lost Trail Freestyle Team around because they were the best skiers on the mountain and we wanted to be as good as they were. By the end of the day, they finally asked if we wanted to join their team. We joined and by the next year we started competing in Northern Division Freestyle.”
