![]() Willie Borm has been knocking on the door of slopestyle skiing for years, which is saying something since he’s only 15 years old. This young ripper is not only climbing the ranks in the slopestyle world, he also finds time to film ski movie segments. He took sixth at the Dumont Cup in April 2012 and was ranked 22nd in the AFP overall slopestyle rankings out of 1,000 international competitors. On top of that, in 2011 he was listed as one of the top 20 athletes under 18 years old by Powder Magazine. We will surely be seeing more of him in the years to come. Borm had a great year in 2013. Thanks to his solid results he earned himself an invite to Dew Tour and X Games Tignes. He won the Aspen/Snowmass Freeskiing Open and took third at The North Face Park & Pipe Open Series in Whistler. He also held his own on the highly competitive World Cup circuit. WILLIE SAYS I’m working on my right side doubles now and getting ready for the next season. For the 2014 season, I really want to make it to the Olympics in Russia. It’s a bit of a long shot for me, but I’m going to keep training and working hard. You never know. FIRST TRACKS OFF THE SNOW |
