Media Accreditation

Media accreditation at events is always managed by the individual event organizer. Links are provided here for accreditation at major USSA domestic events. For international events outside the USA, simply go into the FIS competition calendar to find the event and make contact with the local organizing committee.

Olympics
The U.S. Olympic Committee has the responsibility to accredit U.S. media for the Olympic Games. The accreditation process for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia is presently underway with an initial deadline of August 31, 2012 for application. Only media companies, not individuals, may apply for accreditation. Media eligible for IOC accreditation through media companies include writers, editors and photographers from newspapers, magazines, online sites that provide original editorial content, news agencies (excluding Associated Press) and photo agencies. All media are accredited by organization and must represent that organization. The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document below gives a good overview of the accreditation process.
