Central Division Age Groups

USSA athletes are catagorized into age groups.

Seniors

Senior athletes are those that are over the age of 21 on January 1st of the competition season.

For the 2016-17 season, it includes those born in 1995 or earlier.

Senior (SR) athletes may compete in FIS and USSA events. The Central Divison hosts FIS events thru out the division.

U19/U21

U21 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 1996-97

U19 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 1998-2000

U19 and U21 athletes may compete in FIS and USSA events. The Central Divison hosts FIS events thru out the division.

U19 athletes may participate in the Central Division Mid Am series 

U19 athletes may participate in the Rocky/Central FIS series

U19 athletes may participate in the Nor Am series

U19 and U21 Central athletes have a Rocky/Central FIS Championship
 

U16

U16 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 2001-2002

U16 athletes are under 16 years old as of January 1st of the competition season.

U16 athletes may compete in USSA scored and non-scored events.

 

The Rocky/Central U16 Jr Championships will be held in Vail, CO.

 

U14

U14 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 2003-2004

U14 athletes are under 14 years old as of January 1st of the competition season.

U14 athletes compete in USSA non-scored events.

 

The Rocky/Central U14 Jr Championships will be held TBA

 

U12

U12 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 2005-2006

U12 athletes are under 12 years old as of January 1st of the competition season.

U12 athletes compete in USSA non-scored events.

The Central Division Region 2 hosts a Finale for this age class in March at Ski Brule
 

U10 and younger

U10 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 2007-2008

U10 athletes are under 10 years old as of January 1st of the competition season.

U10 athletes compete in USSA non-scored events.

Central Division Region 2 hosts a Finale for U10 and U8 age classes in March at Ski Brule
 
U8 - For the 2016-17 season YOB 2009+
U8 athletes and younger compete in USSA non-scored events
