Tom Kelly, Vice President Communications (director and spokesperson) Tom Kelly, who has over 40 years experience in ski-related marketing and public relations, came to USSA in 1986 as assistant national nordic director and took over public relations management in 1988. Kelly oversees all public relations and corporate communications for USSA. He is also active within his field in both the International Federation, where he serves as chairman of the FIS PR & Mass Media Committee, and the U.S. Olympic Committee. Prior to coming to the USSA, Kelly, a 1974 University of Wisconsin graduate and Wisconsin native, worked first as a ski journalist and public relations professional in the early 1970s before taking over marketing and public relations for Telemark Resort in northern Wisconsin, home of the American Birkebeiner cross country ski race, where he was instrumental in the development of the Worldloppet ski series. He and his wife Carole Duh live in Park City and have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Margo Christiansen, Communications Director Margo Christiansen began her work at the USSA in 2007, focusing on internal company communications to stakeholder groups and later morphed responsibilities to include media relations. Christiansen, originally from Forest City, PA, served as nordic press officer for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. She is responsible for management of external public communications and overseeing internal communications to key USSA stakeholders. Media inquires, including athlete interview requests can be routed to her. Christiansen lives in Park City, UT and is based at the Center of Excellence. Riley Steinmetz, Communications Coordinator Riley Steinmetz relocated from San Diego, CA, to join the USSA in September 2012. Steinmetz, a native of Indianapolis, IN, works as Communications Coordinator and is responsible for social media strategy and all internal communications including newsletters and stakeholder communication. Steinmetz lives in Park City, UT and is based at the Center of Excellence. Doug Haney, Senior Press Officer Doug Haney has been the Alpine Press Officer since the 2008 season and engages directly with U.S. Ski Team athletes and staff around the world. If you have an alpine related media inquiry, he's your man. A native of Grand Rapids, MI, Haney has worked with the USSA since 2002 when he served as the nordic press officer during the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. When not on the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup tour, he lives in Saranac Lake, NY with his wife Katherine and young daughter Gwen. Katie Perhai, Content and Creative Services Director (photography) Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Katie Perhai has served as the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s Image Director for the past four seasons. She is responsible for photography, logo use, graphics and other visual elements pertaining to the Teams and organization. Perhai currently resides in Park City, Utah and holds regular office hours at the Center of Excellence. Shannon Camp, Video Production and Content Manager Born and raised in Spokane, WA, Shannon Camp joined the USSA staff as video production manager in the summer of 2010. Camp graduated from Boston University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Prior to joining the USSA team, she worked as an associate producer for Partly Sunny Productions in Seattle, WA. Camp resides in Park City, UT and is responsible for all U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding video inquiries. Address:
